Chloe Adler

SPEECH & LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

Chloe is one of the owners of Language and Literacy Group. Chloe grew up in New York City and attended Lehman College, in the Bronx, for her master’s degree in speech-language pathology. She began her career in New York but moved to California in 2014. She has over ten years of experience working with children of all ages in private practice and school settings. Her passion has always been treating language-based learning disabilities and autism. She lives in Palos Verdes with her husband, who teaches science at the Chadwick school, and her son Luc.

Dana Papageorge

SPEECH & LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

Dana is one of the owners of Language and Literacy Group. Dana attended the University of Texas at Austin for her master’s degree. She began her career in Connecticut at a private practice that specialized in working with autistic children. Dana later worked at a school for children with language-based learning disabilities in New York City. It was at The Shefa School that Dana was trained in Orton-Gillingham curriculum and became a literacy specialist. She became passionate about teaching reading and has continued that work ever since. Dana has over ten years of experience working with children of all ages. She lives in Palos Verdes with her husband Cody and their daughter Camila.

Molly Makofske

SPEECH & LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

Molly Makofske is a full-time speech and language pathologist at Language and Literacy Group. She attended Emerson College in Boston for her master’s degree but is originally from Orange County. Molly began her career outside Boston but returned to California to be closer to family. Molly lives in Long Beach with her husband, Jay, and their rescue dog.
